Liner notes for the AI era · updated Oct 22, 2026

Is this artist AI?

Look up a viral singer, band or song and get a straight answer: what the creator said, which streaming platforms label it as AI, what the press reported, and where to listen officially. Every fact links to its source and shows the day we checked it.

The evidence ladder

A1 Creator disclosed AI 14 The creator or label said publicly that the music is AI-generated or AI-assisted. We link the statement.
A2 Platform AI label 4 At least one streaming platform shows an AI label on the artist or a release. The creator has not said.
A3 Reported, unconfirmed 0 Only third-party reporting or analysis. Unconfirmed: no creator statement, no platform label.
A4 Human performer confirmed 2 Credible evidence that a human performs, such as a verified live show or a label statement.
A5 Unclear 0 Evidence conflicts or is not enough to say either way.

How labels work

Spotify, Deezer, YouTube Music, Apple Music, Tidal and SoundCloud each label AI music differently, if at all. A filled square means we saw the platform's AI label; a hollow square means we looked and saw none; a dashed square means not checked yet.
